Istanbul, July 17, SPA -- Turkish security forces killed 10Kurdish rebels and confiscated explosives and weapons insoutheastern Turkey, local officials said Sunday. The four-day operation in a triangle of the southeasterncities of Van, Sirnak and Hakkari began Wednesday and wasaimed at rooting out members of the autonomy-seekingKurdistan Workers' Party, or PKK, the Sirnak governor'soffice said.
