Baghdad, May 18, SPA -- Iraqi Prime Minister Ibrahimal-Jaafari will visit Turkey, his office said Wednesday, onhis first foreign visit since taking office last month. His office said he would leave Iraq for Turkey on Thursdayfor a May 20-21 visit and will be accompanied by severalministers. Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan saidal-Jaafari would arrive Thursday evening and that Turkishand Iraqi delegations would hold meetings on Friday. "Our aim is to contribute to regional peace andenvironment of calm," Erdogan said.
