Hyderabad, India, March 1, SPA -- Suspected communist rebels abducted 50 villagers on the pretext of settling a localdispute and fatally shot eight of them in a remote forestarea in southern India, police said Tuesday. The insurgents chopped off the hands and legs of the twoof those killed in Kurnool district in Andhra Pradesh stateon Monday night, a police officer said on condition ofanonymity.
