Al-Quds city, Jan 5, SPA -- Two homemade Palestinian rockets fellinto southern Israel on Wednesday, wounding seven Israelis,one of them seriously, the Israeli army said. Military officials declined to say where the rocket hadlanded. Palestinian militants in the northern Gaza Strip havestepped up rocket fire in recent weeks, prompting theIsraeli army to launch a new operation in the area thisweek.
