Rome, Oct 11, SPA -- Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak arrived in Rome Monday for a two-day visit that includes meetings withPremier Silvio Berlusconi and other top officials. Violence in Iraq and the Middle East peace process wereexpected to top the agenda of the talks. Egypt, a closeally of the United States, has offered to host aninternational conference on Iraq next month. Mubarak was scheduled to meet Italian President CarloAzeglio Ciampi later Monday.
