Baghdad, Dec 27, SPA -- A U.S. soldier died of wounds Mondayand another was injured in a roadside bomb explosion northof Baghdad, the U.S. military said. The explosion occurred late Sunday during a combat patrolin Samarra, 95 kilometers (60 miles) north of Baghdad, astatement said. The soldiers were evacuated to a multinational forcesmedical facility for treatment. The wounded soldier wastreated for minor injuries and returned to duty.
