Al-Quds City, Aug 17, SPA -- The Israeli government on Tuesday reissued bids for 1,000 homes in Jewish West Banksettlements, after the tenders were temporarily frozenearlier this month amid growing friction with the UnitedStates over continued settlement expansion. The planned construction violates the internationallybacked "road map" plan, accepted by Israel, which callsfor a construction freeze.
