Jakarta, Aug 3, SPA -- Indonesian President Megawati Sukarnoputri said the government will erect concrete pillars to mark the country's land borders with Malaysia to prevent land grabbing, a news agency said Tuesday. "The government will build concrete pillars on the borders so nobody can move them," Megawati said in a meeting with tourism operators at the State Palace. The president said the government would also draw up a new map that would clarify the country's borderlines, the state-run Antara news agency said. "We do not want to lose any territory again," Megawati said. Indonesia started a renewed drive to settle long-standing border disputes with Malaysia after the International Court in 2003 ruled that two islands, Sipadan and Ligitan, were part of Malaysian territory. --SPA 1407 Local Time 1107 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/188504
