Vienna, Sha'ban 12, 1433, Jul 2, 2012, SPA - An international conference aimed at granting Kosovo full sovereignty opened in Vienna on Monday. The International Steering Group - consisting of 23 European countries, Turkey and the United States - was set to decide to end its oversight mechanism over Kosovo, at a meeting also attended by its Premier Hashim Thaci, according to a report of DPA. The group had been able to influence the political process through its international civilian representative, Pieter Feith, who is to end his work following Monday's conference.
