Prince Saud Al-Faisal pointed out that they reviewed also the Palestinian issue, especially recent Israeli and dangerous escalations in building more settlements and the acquisition of more Palestinian land, in addition to the policy of blackmail practiced by Israel to prevent Palestinian money transfers to Palestinians, in an attempt to impose punishment on the Authority as it gained a legitimate right as non-member observer state at the United Nations with broad support from the international community. The Prince said "In the same framework, we discussed the developments on the Palestinian reconciliation, which is still stalled, pointing in this regard to the tireless and good efforts of Egypt in an attempt to bring the views closer and complete these efforts to regain the cohesion of the Palestinians." He noted that the Iranian nuclear file, was among the topics that were discussed at the meeting, and particularly in terms of what was expressed by Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) recent summit of concern about the environmental danger of the Iranian program on the Gulf states, in addition to its threat to security and peace of the region and the world, as Iran does not respond to the efforts of Group (5 +1) to resolve the crisis diplomatically, as well as Iranian policies to attempt to interfere in the countries of the region by all means and stir up unrest and problems in them.
