Saudi Minister of Finance Mohammed Al-Jadaan met on Tuesday with Chancellor of the Exchequer Jeremy Hunt in London, reported the Saudi Press Agency. The officials discussed bilater aal relations between their countries and global economic issues. They tackled issues that were raised at the G20, IMF and World Bank Group, while also reviewing the promising outlook of the Saudi economy. They signed a memorandum of understanding that aims to highlight opportunities, exchange experiences, and enhance cooperation between the two countries in the fields of financial development and public finance services. Al-Jadaan was on a two-visit to the UK where he met with Minister of Investment Lord Johnson to discuss ways to bolster relations and cooperation in financial services between their countries Through the courtesy of the Saudi-British Joint Business Council, Al-Jadaan also met with interested investors and CEOs. They reviewed the promising outlook of the Saudi economy and the Kingdom’s ongoing plans for economic and financial reforms in line with Vision 2030. Al-Jadaan held a meeting with Lord Mayor of London Nicholas Lyons and reviewed public-private partnerships in Saudi Arabia. They discussed the opportunities within Privatization Program and the Saudi Partnership. Al-Jadaan also met with representatives of companies interested in the rapid growth of privatization opportunities and public-private partnerships in Saudi Arabia.
