First Ministerial Meeting of GCC Anti-Corruption Law Enforcement Agencies Held

Jeddah, December 21, 2022, SPA -- Heads of anti-corruption law enforcement agencies in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), today in Jeddah, held their first ministerial meeting of Anti-Corruption Law Enforcement Agencies of the GCC States, upon an invitation of the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the chairmanship of Nazaha President Mazin bin Ibrahim Al-Kahmous. The meeting was held in the presence of President of State Audit Institution of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Dr. Harib bin Saeed Al Amimi; Chief of Public Security of the Kingdom of Bahrain Lt. Gen. Tariq bin Hassan Al Hassan; President of the State Financial and Administrative Audit Institution of the Sultanate of Oman Sheikh Ghosn bin Hilal Al Alawi; President of the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority of the State of Qatar Hamad bin Nasser Al Misned; and Minister of Justice, Minister of Awqaf (endowment) and Islamic Affairs, and Minister of State for Integrity Promotion Affairs of the State of Kuwait Majed bin Abdulaziz Al-Majed, with the participation of GCC Secretary General Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf. The meeting reviewed the contents of the final communiqué issued by the Supreme Council of GCC at its 43rd session, held on December 9, 2022, which affirmed the full and accurate implementation of the vision of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to promote joint Gulf action, the strength and cohesion of the GCC and the unity of its members and realizing greater coordination, integration and interdependence in all fields in order to achieve the aspirations of the citizens of the GCC member states. --SPA 18:53 LOCAL TIME 15:53 GMT 0035 www.spa.gov.sa/w1829681
