Egypt to Host King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Award for Translation Ceremony Next October

Riyadh, June 26, 2022, SPA -- The King Abdulaziz Public Library has announced it will hold the ceremony to distribute the 10th King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Award for Translation in the Library of Alexandria in Egypt next October. Supervisor General of the King Abdulaziz Public Library and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Award King Abdulaziz Public Library extended the deepest gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, for the support and care attached to the library and the generous directive to hold the ceremony of the 10th King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Award for Translation in Egypt. The King Abdulaziz Public Library has recently announced the names of winners of the 10th award, where the board of trustees, after reviewing the report of the scientific committee, decided to grant awards to winners in its six categories. King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Award for Translation is one of the projects of the King Abdulaziz Public Library that was launched in October 2006, and it is an international award that is granted to translated works from and into Arabic. Choosing the Library of Alexandria to host the distribution ceremony of the 10th version of the award is due to its prestigious cultural history that dates back to old civilizations and for its cognitive role at the Arab and international levels.
