Riyadh, June 23, 2022, SPA -- The Food Safety Committee of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) held its sixth meeting at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Riyadh today, chaired by the CEO of the General Authority for Food and Drug in the Kingdom, Dr. Hisham bin Saad Al-Jadhey, and attended by UAE Minister of Climate Change and Environment Meriam Al-Muhairi, Bahraini Minister of Health Dr. Jalila Al-Sayed Jawad Hassan, Omani Minister of Agricultural, Fisheries and Water Resources Dr. Saud bin Hamoud Al-Habsi, Qatari Assistant Minister for Health Affairs Dr. Saleh bin Ali Al-Marri, and Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director-General of the Food and Nutrition Authority in Kuwait Dr. Reem Ghazi Al-Fulaij, and the with the participation of the GCC Secretary-General, Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf.
