Egyptian Petroleum Minister: HRH Saudi Crown Prince’s visit to Egypt comes in critical time

Cairo, June 22, 2022, SPA -- Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El-Molla stressed that the historical visit of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister, to Egypt came in a critical time regarding global changes witnessed by the international arena economically and politically. El-Molla, in remarks to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), said: HRH the Crown Prince’s visit to Cairo has contributed to supporting and consolidating the distinguished relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Egypt, under the leadership of President Abdelfattah El-Sisi, noting that the visit represents a qualitative leap in the Saudi-Egyptian relations that are witnessing further growth and power over history and represents a support to the entire Arab nation through the full support of the two leaderships to the joint Arab action. On the energy field, El-Molla said that the two countries see eye-to-eye in points of view, reiterating the wise ability of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s to realize stability for the oil market and referring to the distinguished ties between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Egypt, especially that they represent a cornerstone towards heading to wider horizons to support the petroleum activity and relations, attract investments, and establish projects that contribute to realizing envisioned benefits for the two brotherly peoples. --SPA 15:37 LOCAL TIME 12:37 GMT 0020 www.spa.gov.sa/w1751018
