Cairo, June 15, 2022, SPA -- The 12th meeting of the Arab Food Safety Team is kicked off at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League. Director of Food Inspection and Early Warning at the Saudi Food and Drug Authority Ahmad bin Omar bin Ahmad headed the Saudi delegation to the meeting that was organized by the Arab League. In a statement today, the General Secretariat of the Arab League noted that the two-day meeting will be discussing several important issues listed on the agenda, the top of which include the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s initiative to establish the Arab regional network for risk communication, which aims at supporting communication among monitoring institutions in the Arab world and exchanging scientific and practical expertise concerned with risk communication. --SPA 18:26 LOCAL TIME 15:26 GMT 0020 www.spa.gov.sa/w1746926
