Riyadh, February 16, 2022, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Bilad newspaper reported in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is keen on the stability and development of Yemen and the unity of its people. Saudi Arabia supports all efforts aimed at reaching a comprehensive political solution in Yemen, according to the three references (the GCC Initiative and its executive mechanisms, the outcomes of the national dialogue and the UN Security Council resolution No. 2216), the paper said. Since the outbreak of the Yemeni crisis, as the Houthi militia launched its coup against legitimacy, Saudi Arabia has continued supporting international efforts, in order to reach a comprehensive political solution and achieve security and development there, the paper added. Saudi Arabia continue providing humanitarian, relief and development aid for all Yemeni governorates without exception, while the Houthi terrorist militia continues its attacks against civilians and civilian objects in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, as the entire world strongly condemns such terrorist and hostile acts, the paper concluded.
