KSrelief Inaugurates Project to Distribute 5,000 Tons of Dates in 13 Yemeni Governorates

Marib, April 5, 2022, SPA -- King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) in Marib on Sunday inaugurated a project to distribute 5,000 tons of dates in 13 Yemeni governorates for 2022, which is expected to benefit more than 600,000 needy families. Director General of the office of the Social Affairs Ministry in Marib Abdulhakim Al-Qaisi said that this project is part of a series of big humanitarian and effective projects implemented by KSrelief in the sectors of food security, health, education, water and other sectors to help the Yemeni people, noting that the project will allocate 125,000 cartoons of dates weighing 1,000 tons for Marib, extending his appreciation and gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, for what it offers of service and support for displaced and underprivileged families, mainly in light of the difficult circumstances of the country.
