Riyadh, January 12, 2021, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper reported in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is taking serious steps forward, shaping its future in the way that it seeks to achieve. The newspaper added that THE LINE at NEOM announced by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince translates the aspirations of the Kingdom's vision 2030, by establishing smart cities that provide a healthy and safe environment for people. THE LINE project will makes Saudi Arabia a pioneer in building such smart cities, as the history of mankind has never witnessed building a city from scratch as what will happen on the land of NEOM. The newspaper concluded that the establishment of THE LINE project involves economic goals that enhance its continuity and confirm its feasibility through its contribution to economic diversification via providing 380,000 jobs and SAR 180 billion (USD 48 bn) to GDP by 2030. In the same context, Al-Bilad newspaper reported in its editorial that Saudi Arabia presented to the whole world a unique model of future civilized cities, by launching THE LINE, as this future city will be operated according to an artificial intelligence system, while depending on clean energy. The paper further added that this city will be held on a wonderful land distinguished by its natural beauty that will provide luxury tourism along with the stunning nature.
