Riyadh, June 08, 2021, SPA -- The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states' ministers in charge of the environment, virtually, held their 23rd session. The Secretary General of the GCC Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf took part, in the meeting, too. At the outset, they extended thanks and gratitude to the leaders of the GCC, in general, for backing up the procession of the council, especially in the environment domain and to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown Prince, in particular, for launching the two initiatives of the Green Saudi Arabia and the Green Middle East. During the meeting, the ministers discussed measures related to carrying out the relevant directives for the member states, endeavors exerted against the pandemic and the ministerial strategic plan.
