Saudi Press: Saudi Arabia Leads Collective Efforts to Confront COVID-19 Pandemic

Riyadh, December 5, 2020, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Bilad newspaper reported in its editorial that the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic has posed unprecedented health and economic challenges to the whole world. The paper added that due to this unprecedented global pandemic, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia led collective efforts with remarkable success during its presidency of the G20, chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, to face the exceptional circumstance and the common challenge that the entire world is facing. The paper further added that the Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan affirmed Saudi Arabia’s unremitting commitment to promoting collective work and continuing the multi-approach, along with to its cooperation with the United Nations in order to face global challenges, maintain peace and stability and achieve welfare and prosperity for peoples.
