KSrelief Welcomes Saudi Arabia's Initiative to End Crisis in Yemen

Riyadh, March 22, 2021, SPA -- The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) welcomed the initiative announced by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to end the crisis in Yemen and reach a comprehensive political agreement, including a comprehensive ceasefire, under the supervision of the United Nations. In a statement issued today, the KSrelief called on the Yemeni parties to respond positively to the initiative to overcome the current political and humanitarian situation and give priority to the interests of the Yemeni people. The KSrelief also called on the international community to adopt and support the initiative to save Yemen and to alleviate the human suffering of the Yemeni people, to engage in the peace process, based on the three references, the GCC Initiative and its executive mechanism, the outcomes of the National Dialogue, and Security Council Resolution 2216.
