Khartoum, June 01, 2021, SPA -- King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has concluded a campaign to combat blindness and other diseases causing it in Sudan, it was reported today. KSrelief's volunteer medical team at Khartoum-based Makkah Eye Hospital has examined 6,564 patients, performed 400 cataract removal operations, distributed 391 glasses and 597 eye drops, during the period from 20 to 30 May 2021, said the report. In Omdurman Hospital, the team examined 3,035 patients, performed 400 cataract removal operations, and distributed 400 glasses and 1,600 eye drops during the period from 21 to 29 May 2021, according to the report.
