Khartoum, January 23, 2021, SPA -- King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) concluded here yesterday its voluntary medical campaign to combat blindness and the diseases that cause it. The volunteer medical team has conducted 723 surgeries, provided 3,349 medical consultations, in addition to distributing 1,011 eyeglasses and 2,369 eye drops, and trained 20 specialists from the medical staff, including 14 blind, in first aid skills and how to deal with patients. This campaign comes as an extension of the humanitarian and relief efforts, exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the KSrelief, aims to treat people with eye diseases, and providing them with the necessary medical care in a number of countries. --SPA 15:51 LOCAL TIME 12:51 GMT 0006 www.spa.gov.sa/w1489183
