Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Underscores Significance of Consolidating Joint Arab Action, on the Eve of Summit

Amman, Jumada II 26, 1438, Mar 25, 2017, SPA -- Prince Khalid bin Faisal bin Turki, the Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Underscores Significance of Consolidating Joint Arab Action, on the eve of the Arab summit, set to he held here on Wednesday, to face regional challenges imposed by latest ongoing developments. In a press statement here today to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), he pointed out that the next coming 28th Arab ordinary summit, that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is, often, keen to encourage Arab brethren towards solidarity and closing ranks, in order to level up to the challenges affecting Arab common man's life, in terms of security and day to day living and asserting that the policies of Riyadh are, also, working to confront schemes to penetrate Arab unified ranks, in order to foil external enterprises aiming at building expansion at the cost of Pan-Arab interests, integrity and dignity. The prince-ambassador called the summit as exceptional and significant, notably that its agenda are including themes such as combat of terrorism, tragic situations, in Syria, security and political challenges, in Iraq, hailing Arab league resolutions, especially the one that calls for forming an Arab rapid force, titled: Saudi-led Arab Coalition, which is already, working in progress, to liberate Yemen of the Houthi militias' plots and deposed Saleh, up to restoration of the legitimately internationally recognized government, led by President Mansur Hadi and concluding by recalling that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's directive was pivotal, in, recent improvement of the Saudi-Iraqi bilateral relations. -- SPA 20:15 LOCAL TIME 17:15 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w361476
