A speech ceremony was held on the occasion. The speakers included Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of the Eastern Region and head of the higher commission of the award, Minister of Education Dr. Azzam bin Mohammad Aldikhail, Advisor to the Interior Minister and Secretary General of the award Dr. Saed Alorabi Alharthi and Abdulrazaq Alabad Albadr, who spoke on behalf of his father who won one of the award's braches. The speakers highlighted the king's care for Sunnah in particular and Islam in general. Then, the king handed prizes to winners of the award and competition.
