Riyadh, February 13, 2020, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Yaum news paper said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is keen to pay close attention to nuclear security, which is the most important and essential component of building the infrastructure related to the national project of peaceful uses of atomic energy. The paper pointed to the speech of Prince Abdullah bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi Ambassador to the Republic of Austria, and the governor of Saudi Arabia to the International Atomic Energy Agency, at the Nuclear Security Conference currently held in the Austrian capital, who confirmed that Saudi Arabia has supported all international decisions related to control and protect the human being and environment from the repercussions of using nuclear and radiological materials in fields other than their peaceful purposes. Al-Bilad newspaper said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is preparing for hosting the upcoming Middle East Summit of the World Economic Forum, next April, which focuses on a package of major axes regarding the challenges of future professions and capacity building, smart cities, environmental stewardship, and the fourth industrial revolution.
