Saudi Press: Saudi Arabia Supports International Effort In Combating Corruption

Riyadh, Nov. 17, 2021, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Bilad newspaper said in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continues combating corruption to protect public money and the country ’s capabilities. This step would effectively contribute to enhances the modern sustainable development paths and investor confidence, in addition to enhancing Saudi Arabia’s position in the international classifications related to these core values, as a main focus of its vision 2030, the paper said. In this regard, Saudi Arabia plays vital role in supporting the international effort to combat corruption, through a number of pioneering initiatives, during its presidency of the previous summit of G20, the paper added. In this context, its participation, represented by Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) comes in the first meeting of the Riyadh Initiative Network, which was held in the Austrian capital Vienna, the paper concluded. In another, Al-Riyadh newspaper reported in its editorial that HRH the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman announced the establishment of NEOM's industrial city, known as OXAGON, forming the next phase of NEOM’s master plan and representing a radical new model for future manufacturing centers, based on NEOM’s strategies of redefining the way humanity lives and works in the future. The projects that we witness daily in this prosperous era, being led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, HRH the Crown Prince confirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is moving forward with its future projects to reach an important position among the advanced industrial countries around the world, the paper said. OXAGON is one of the most important paths announced by HRH the Crown Prince, while establishing the city of NEOM by focusing on nine specialized investment sectors targeting the future of human civilization, as the future of energy and water, the future of mobility, the future of biotechnologies, the future of food, and the future of technical and digital sciences, the future of advanced manufacturing, as well as the future of media and media production, in addition to the future of entertainment, along with and the future of living, the paper added.
