Riyadh, Nov. 13, 2019, SPA -- The Board of Directors of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) held today its 13th meeting under the chairmanship of Turki bin Abdullah Al-Shabanah, Minister of Media and Chairman of SPA Board of Directors, in the presence of the board's members. At the outset of the meeting, Al-Shabanah congratulated Dr. Fahd bin Hassan Al-Aqran and Adhwan bin Mohammed Al-Ahmeri on the occasion of issuance of the Cabinet's decision, appointing them as members at SPA board of directors. He also congratulated Yarub bin Abdullah Al-Thunayan, member of the board, for being nominated as a representative of the Finance Ministry at SPA Board of Directors, wishing them every success. During the meeting, Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Hussain, President of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) and Vice Chairman of the SPA Board of Directors, briefed the meeting on what has been achieved during the recent period; and reviewed the meeting's agenda. The meeting discussed the agenda, approving SPA's personnel regulation and authorizing SPA President to submit the regulation to the relevant bodies for completing its procedures and putting it into force. SPA Board of Directors was briefed on a draft budget of SPA for the coming fiscal year (14411442H). The meeting approved the budget and authorized the SPA President to submit it. Then, the audience watched a visual presentation highlighting SPA's plan for its coverage of the G20 Summit to be held in Riyadh in November, 2020.
