United Nations, Muharram 25, 1438, October 26, 2016, SPA --The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has stressed the importance of presenting real studies on all issues and challenges related to immigration and finding fixed and acceptable definitions for immigrants, so that they do not include foreign workers whose conditions are entirely different from immigrants. This came in Kingdom's speech at the meetings of the Second Committee of the 71st session of General Assembly of the United Nations on the item of international migration and development delivered recently by the member of the Permanent Delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the International Organization Rowad bin Fahd Al-Salim. Al-Salim said that foreign workers are being subjected to labor and workers' regulations in the states and their rights are being preserved in contracts with employers, whereas, these contracts list the rights towards them or their duties which must be taken into account in the hosted countries, pointing out that must be focused on the importance of developing information and legislation environment on this subject until it can be listed by the United Nations within the framework of the new global development goals. --More 12:59 LOCAL TIME 09:59 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
