Tunis, Rajab 25, 1436, May 14, 2015, SPA -- Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas stressed that the return to negotiations with the Israeli side is conditioned on halting Israeli settlement activity and the unconditional release of Palestinian prisoners. In a press statement at the conclusion of his official visit to Tunisia, the Palestinian President said, "It represents the Palestinian vision for the future solution based on an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 parallel and East Jerusalem as its capital, as well as a just solution to the refugee problem in accordance with UN resolution 194 and the Arab peace initiative."
