UNITED NATIONS, Jumada I 13, 1436, March 04, 2015, SPA -- The U.N. mission in Libya (UNSMIL) said Tuesday that talks between the country’s rival factions will resume this week in Morocco. The United Nations has been trying to help resolve the crisis in Libya, which is now bitterly divided between two rival governments and multiple militias. The U.N.-mediated talks previously were held in Geneva and Libya. UNSMIL said in a statement that the Morocco round of discussions will focus on the formation of a national unity government, securing a ceasefire, and the withdrawal of militias from cities and towns. Representatives from both parliaments are expected to attend the talks. --SPA 10:57 LOCAL TIME 07:57 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
