Serb general to surrender to U.N. war crimes tribunal this week

Belgrade, Serbia-Montenegro, Feb 1, SPA -- One of the top fourSerb generals sought by the U.N. war crimes tribunal foralleged atrocities committed in Kosovo will surrender thisweek to the Netherlands-based court, a newspaper reportedTuesday. Gen. Vladimir Lazarevic, a top army commander in Kosovo in1999, will travel to The Hague on Thursday, the independentVecernje Novosti newspaper said.
