In light of the above mentioning, the Council decided the following: First: Terrorism is a heinous crime, injustice and aggression rejected by Sharia and instinct in all its forms, and its perpetrator deserves deterrent punishment according to the provisions of Islamic Sharia, the requirements of maintaining its authority, and the prohibition of disobedience to the Ruler. Muslim youth shall have insight into things, and not follow corrupt phrases and slogans raised to disperse the nation and instigate it on corruption, and they are in fact not from religion, but they are fabricated by ignorant and malevolent people. The texts of Sharia include penalties for those who commit such acts, the need to deter them and refer them to the judiciary. Second: The Council of Senior Scholars supports what is being done by the State to track those who belong to the groups of terrorism and criminality and detected them, such as Daash (ISIS), Al-Qaeda, the Houthis, so-called Hezbollah, or belong to foreign political loyalties to protect the country and people from their evils and ward off the sedition, and everyone should cooperate in eliminating this serious matter because this cooperation is from righteousness and piety. The Council warns of cover-up of those or sheltering them as this act is one from the major sins. Third: the Council calls on scholars to do their duty and intensify the guidance of people in this serious matter to clarify the truth. --More 14:01 LOCAL TIME 11:01 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
