Kabul, Safar 4, 1438, Nov 4, 2016, SPA -- 11 people were killed and 12 others were wounded when a rocket hit a wedding ceremony in Afghanistan's northern Faryab province on Thursday, officials said on Friday. "The casualties include women and children, including the bride, who was wounded in the incident," Ahmad Javed Bedar, a spokesman for Faryab governor said. According to dpa, the rocket hit as the bride was getting ready to leave for the groom's house, he said. A local provincial council member, Sibghatullah Sailab, said the village where the incident took place was under Taliban control. --SPA 12:26 LOCAL TIME 09:26 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
