Cairo, Rabi'II 16, 1438, Jan 14, 2017, SPA --Secretary General of the Arab League (AL) Ahmed Abulghait, warmly, welcomed latest US administration decision to, partially, lift economic sanctions imposed on Sudan. In a press statement announced here today, AL Chief said that such US step, was the same thing that the Pan-Arab organization used to call, in previously issued statements, Washington to make, as a significant response to a legitimate Arab demand, in general and Sudanese, in particular, considering it a main step to assist Sudan, in restoring economic posture, which has been, badly, affected by the US sanctions, concluding that the AL anticipates that bilateral cooperation as well as the dialogue between the Sudan and the US will move on, to realize ultimate interests of their two peoples. -- SPA 21:07 LOCAL TIME 18:07 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w312439
