On the situations in Yemen, the Minister explained that the Cabinet stressed the statement's clarification issued by the Command of the Coalition in response to what has been circulated on the media quoting some non-governmental relief and human rights organizations containing fallacies about health conditions in Yemen and underestimating the Coalition's efforts and its positive role in the delivery of humanitarian aid to the brotherly Yemeni people, reterating the confirmation that the Coalition in Defense of Legitimcy in Yemen is considered the greatest doner of humanitarian assistance to the Republic of Yemen and that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has alone submitted humanitarian aid worth more than $500 million, making it the biggest donor of assistance to Yemen. The Cabinet confirmed that the agreement reached between Houthis and followers of Ali Saleh's on forming a political council in the Republic of Yemen is considered an obstacle in the way to reach a political arrangement to end the sufferings of the Yemeni people, and a flagrant violation of the resolutions of the Arab League, Organization of Islamic Cooperation, United Nations Security Council Resolution 2216, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)'s initiative and its executive mechanism as well as the outputs of the comprehensive national dialogue. On the other hand, the Cabinet expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's denunciation of the decision of the Israeli occupational authorities, allowing the construction of 770 new residential units in occupied Eastern Al-Quds as part of the continuing aggression against the State of Palestine, targeting the Palestinian well-bing and dismembering its unity and continuation of the Israeli intrasegence and systematic violation for the bases and principles of the peaceful settlemnt and the resolutions of the internatioanl legitimacy supportive for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, including their right in establishing an independent state with Al-Quds as its capital. -- More 18:26 LOCAL TIME 15:26 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
