Border Guards Foil Smuggling Attempt of 187,275 Amphetamines Tablets - Spokesman

Riyadh, Sha'ban 14, 1437, May 21, 2016, SPA -- The official spokesman for the border guards, Colonel Marine Saher bin Mohammed Al-Harbi said that the command and control center of border guards at Rafha sector has successfully foiled, on last Tuesday, an attempt of smuggling narcotics by two persons who were monitored crossing the Iraqi borders by walking towards the Saudi borders. In this regard, the security procedures were taken where one of the two persons surrendered himself and after the area has been combed, the other man was found dead and next to his body, two bags containing a large quantity of narcotic amphetamines amounted to (187,275) pills were also found.
