Following the meeting, a final communiqué stressed depth of relations binding the GCC states and a continuation of coordination and consultation among the GCC states in various fields, particularlry in the field of media. The GCC Ministers of Information stressed importance of this meeting which comes amid rapid regional developments which require the GCC countries to activate the role of media devices and implement joint integrated plans to make the media as a main supporter for political action generally.
