The council commended the efficiency, independence and impartiality of the Saudi judiciary, and welcomed categorical rejection shown by Arab, Islamic, friendly countries and the UN Security Council to these attacks. The council called on all countries, the international community, the regional and international bodies and organizations to take serious and effective steps to prevent such attacks in the future on all diplomatic missions in Iran. The council deplored the Iranian government failure to take necessary measures to protect diplomatic missions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Iran, stressing that the Arab countries will take further appropriate measures to tackle these attacks. The council condemned the continuing Iranian government interference in the internal affairs of the Arab countries over the past decades, stressing that this approach leads to undermining security and stability in the Gulf region, and considering it as a violation of the international law and the principle of good neighborliness. The council denounced the Iranian continuing occupation of the three United Arab Emirates (UAE) islands of Tunb Al-Kubra, Tunb Al-Sughra and Abu Musa. It also condemned Iranian stirring sectarian strife, supporting for, training and financing terrorist organizations, as well as the Iranian inciting to undermine security and stability in the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). It referred to what has recently been revealed by the Kingdom of Bahrain of foiling a terrorist plot to carry out terrorist bombings and the arrest of elements of a new terrorist cell that receives support from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and Hezbollah in Lebanon. --More 01:19 LOCAL TIME 22:19 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
