He said the Kingdom has called for the establishment of an international center to fight terrorism, an initiative later saw the establishment of the center in New York under the auspices of the United Nations to which the Kingdom donated as much as $110 million to cover the costs of the center's construction and operation. He paid tribute to the member parties of Istanbul Process Group, lauding their efforts in, also, combating drug producing, trafficking and peddling and support for Afghan political reconciliation process.
