Riyadh, Ramadan 16, 1437, June 21, 2016, SPA -- Shura Council approved during its 47th regular session held today under the chairmanship of Deputy speaker of the Shura Council Dr. Mohammed bin Amin Al-Jafri on the national strategy for statistical development. During the session, the council approved a number of issues on conducting periodic evaluation of the implementation of the strategy and five- years action, operational plans of the General Authority for Statistics and aspects of statistical and information sector in the Kingdom. Shura Council has approved the draft memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Defense in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of the Comoros for cooperation in the field of defense.
