Riyadh, January 31, 2022, SPA -- Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), strongly condemned the terrorist Houthi militia’s continued and deliberate launching of missiles toward the GCC states, targeting safe civilians and facilities, praising the high efficiency of the UAE Air Defense Forces, for intercepting and destroying a ballistic missile launched by the Houthi militia towards the UAE today, as the debris of the ballistic missile fell outside the populated areas. In a statement, Dr. Al-Hajraf stressed that the ongoing terrorist attacks by the Houthi militia reflect its blatant defiance of the international community and its disregard for all international laws and norms, calling on the international community to assume its responsibilities and take decisive action against the Houthi militia to stop these terrorist acts targeting vital and civilian facilities.
