Riyadh, August 16, 2021, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Bilad newspaper said in its editorial that it is too difficult for the Houthi militia to know and understand the true meaning of a homeland and the value of its stability and development, as long as it implements an Iranian agenda that aims at undermining the security of Yemen and the stability of entire the region. The newspaper added that the Houthi militia’s continued targeting of civilians and civilian areas in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with Iranian-made bomb-laden UAVs and ballistic missiles, clearly reveals the targets of those who support the militia. Saudi Arabia's air defenses and the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen continued to confront and destroy the Houthi militia's terrorist attacks. However, these crimes and attacks require an immediate and decisive stand to stop these repeated attacks, the newspaper further added. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is capable of protecting its land, citizens, and its vital and civilian installations. The Saudi government is also extremely keen to strengthen international efforts to maintain the security of this strategic region and global energy supplies, the newspaper concluded. In another context, Al-Yaum newspaper reported in its editorial that investing in youth as well as preparing them through plans and strategies that will improve their capabilities and opportunities to actively participate in the national development process is a consistent approach in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia strategies since the country's unification by its founder, and until this prosperous era, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince. In this regard, the newspaper pointed to the Ministry of Education’s announcement about the start of receiving applications for external scholarships for bachelor’s, master’s, fellowship and subspecialty degrees’ in different health specialties, including human medicine, dentistry, pharmacology and applied medical sciences. The newspaper further added that the details of the ministry’s announcement reflect the tremendous care and attention that the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 provides for Saudi youth.
