General Secretariat of Council of Arab Interior Ministers condemns terrorist Houthi militia’s attempt to target Abha Int'l Airport

Tunis, September 01, 2021, SPA -- The General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers expressed its strong condemnation of the cowardly terrorist attack carried out by the terrorist Houthi militia today, through which it attempted to attack Abha International Airport, and target innocent civilians with two booby-trapped drones, which the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen were able to intercept and destroy. The secretariat stressed in a statement from its headquarters in the capital, Tunis, that this terrorist act, which represents a flagrant violation of international law and a war crime that requires accountability and the prosecution of its perpetrators, indicating that it is prominent evidence of the persistence of these militias in their transgressions and their hostile approach that violates all religious, human and moral sanctities and their continued refusal to comply with calls for peace. And the efforts made to reach a political solution to the Yemeni crisis and its blatant defiance of the international community and its disregard for all international laws and norms calling for peace, security, and stability in the region.
