Riyadh, October 02, 2020, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Yaum newspaper reported in its editorial that the global economic position of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was achieved due to its capabilities, strategic plans, development projects. The paper added that these capabilities have effectively contributed to push the exerted efforts ahead in confronting the novel Coronavirus Pandemic which negatively impacted the global economy. The paper further added that Saudi Arabia has maintained its economy firmly and the global economy through its presidency of the G20. The paper concluded that in light of these exceptional and global economic challenges, Saudi Arabia has exceptional capacity and economic strength that enhances its position among the countries of the world. Al-Bilad newspaper reported in its editorial that anticipating the future is one of the most important lessons of the global Coronavirus pandemic affirmed by the G20. The paper added that during this virtual extraordinary summit, held last March under the chairmanship of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the leaders issued recommendations in this regard.
