Recalling the Prophet's last speech on Arafa, Al-Shathri warned against the concepts of ethnic calls, discrimination among people and raising slogans of proudness of ethnic origins or ancestry. Accordingly, the season of Hajj should be kept away from any pre-Islam practice, citing raising chants, organizing demonstrations or calling for political parties or assemblies.
