He called on Muslims to pay special attention to their Salah (prayer) as it is the daily link between a worshipper and the Lord, citing several Prophet's sayings showing the significance of Salah. He added that the Zakat (alms) is closely associated to Salah, citing several verses of the Quran calling for performing prayer and giving alms in a no-space succession. Casting light on Islam's fourth pillar, the Counselor at the Royal Court and member of the Senior Ulema Commission said Ramadan is according to Quran is the month in which the first holy verses were inspired to Prophet Mohammed. Fifth comes Hajj, but as a must for he or she who could afford it physically and financially. He recalled that Prophet Mohammed has performed Hajj in the tenth year of his message, with the last verses of Quran were given to him as he was enjoying the Day of Arafa. Al-Shathri focused on one of the merits of Islam which calls for unity, solidarity, cooperation and good-doing.
