The Kingdom still seeks to provide support and humanitarian assistance to the Arab, Islamic and friendly countries to contribute to alleviation of the sufferings caused by natural disasters and conflicts. The Kingdom will not hesitate to provide humanitarian assistance in this field. The Kingdom has scored a world leading rating as regards initiatives in the field of humanitarian aid. In this regard and in the light of what is happening in the Republic of Yemen, the Kingdom initiated and still provides assistance to the Yemeni people while the Saudi Campaign for the Relief of the Syrian people provides a lot of humanitarian aid to the Syrian brothers affected by the war. We appreciate the outstanding efforts of Majlis Al-Shura within the framework of its liabilities. We also appreciate its contribution to highlight the Kingdom's stances towards various issues through dialogues and meetings with various international parliaments in the unions and regional, international and parliamentary forums. The council has great responsibilities towards the homeland and citizens. I call upon you to take care always of the interests of the homeland and citizens and to show your views regarding the government's reports and to consult with the officials.
