Jakarta, Dhu-AlHijjah 13, 1438, Sep 4, 2017, SPA -- Indonesia on Monday condemned North Korea's latest nuclear test, saying that the move could threaten the global population. Pyongyang said Sunday it had tested a hydrogen bomb that could be loaded onto an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), shocking its regional neighbors - particularly South Korea and Japan - and provoking worldwide condemnation. "The nuclear bomb test emitted radioactive materials that can endanger the environment and the health of the global population," dpa quoted the Indonesian Foreign Ministry as saying in a statement. "Indonesia reiterates the importance of stability in the Korean peninsula and calls on all parties to contribute to peace, including through denuclearization," it said. --SPA 13:39 LOCAL TIME 10:39 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w481289
